As the Global 5000 database is continually updated and new research provided, we take monthly snapshots of the database and look at activity each month. During the month of November 2015, 32 new companies were added to the database and another 8 were removed from the active files. The database currently has 4,662 companies that are active having been updated within the past year. To date in 2015, we have added 302 companies and deleted another 142.
We recently calculated the average revenue per employee for The Global 5000 companies and show that data following here by industry. These are the largest companies in the world so we expect these numbers to be quite a bit larger than the average company in each industry.
The numbers in (parens) are the number of Global 5000 companies in each industry while the $ represent the average revenue per employee for that industry group.
