During the month of April, we updated 356 more records with 20 new companies added and activated for the Global 5000. Another 11 were removed as a results of mergers or other actions. At the end of April, there are 4,826 companies that are active. To date this year, we have added 184 companies and removed 51 others.
Some of the largest new companies added include:
- Joh. Berenberg, Gossler & Co – a $6 bln private bank in Germany
- Neoenergia S.A – a private utility in Brazil with $4.8 bln in revenue
- OAS S.A.- a $3.4 bln construction & engineering firm in Brazil
- PT Unilever Indonesia – an Indonesian consumer products company
- Telekom Malaysia- the communications provider in Malaysia
All of these are multi-billion enterprises – worthy of inclusion in your select accounts list. If they are not yet targets or in your CRM systems, then now is a good time to add them.
