If your business requires a look at sizing or forecasting your market on a country basis, there are a number of ways to derive those estimates. We can suggest one method that uses the Global 5000 company revenue as a proxy for the size of the B2B markets.

We took the aggregated revenue by country for Global 5000 companies and then ranked the countries on the list below. Given that businesses sell to these businesses, this ranking becomes a good proxy for the market.

The US is the top country for the Global 5000 with over $14 trillion of aggregated revenue representing 33% of the global market. Number 25 on the list is Finland with $167 billion and just under 1/2 of 1%.  Here is the list of the Top 25 countries:

If your business is operating on a global scale — the breakdown of your revenue by country would likely come out in an order/ranking along these lines.
