There are approximately 110 companies that have revenue over $62 billion (USD). That’s the same as last year. Many of the players have changed — about 10% of them. There are 6 companies from China among these top companies. There were 6 last year.
Lots of changes like HBOS and Lloyds coming together, Prudential UK with a revenue rebound and some of the oil companies (Marathon for example) showing lower revenue. There will be some sectors and main companies that will never look the same – but overall, the large and consolidated revenue among big business remains.
