As we wait for 2015 revenue figures to be released in the coming weeks, January becomes a busy research month looking for companies to add and digging deeper into smaller countries and specific vertical markets.In January, 68 new companies were added and activated for the Global 5000. Another 14 were removed as a results of mergers or other actions. At the end of January, there are 4,751 companies that are active.
New companies added this month include:
- BTG Pactual Group, the Brazilian banking conglomerate
- French financial services firm Wendel SA
- Andritz AG, an industrial firm in Austria
- St. James’s Place plc from the UK
- Jumbo Group, the Netherlands Group food retailers
All of these are multi-billion (over $7 billion in annual revenue) enterprises – worthy of inclusion in your select accounts list.
