As the beginnings of financial results for 2017 have started to be posted, we have completed updating the database for February. At this point, the database currency is 100% – all 5,000 records have had an update within the past 12 months.
Just like what we saw in the previous month, February also had its share of big name M&A action. For those firms looking for lead generation opportunities, their databases will need to be updated with all these new combinations . . . and some spin-offs.
During the month, 140 records were updated and we added 20 newcomers to the Global 5000.
Among the key new firms added were:
- financial services firm Ackermans & Van Haaren
- Bank of Jinzho based in China
- Kingspan Group, a building materials company
- Wienerberger, an Austrian building materials company
- Aalberts Industries NV, a Dutch industrial machinery manufacturer
At the same time companies removed during February include all had revenue that fell short of the minimum:
- Manhattan Associates
- Washington Federal
- Singapore Exchange
- Resources connection
- Kimball International
