We finished the month of May with 406 records updated. Included in our activity were 16 companies added and deleted. For those of you producing a list for your sales teams, you need to keep watching those updates and market activity to keep the list current. Our database remains at 99% currency – all 5,000 records have had an update within the past 12 months.
The level of M&A activity fell off a bit during the month compared to the past few months. For those firms looking for lead generation opportunities, their databases will need to be updated with all these new combinations . . . and some spin-offs.
Among the key new firms added are:
- Siemens Healthineers is now a separate $15 billion company
- ORPEA Group of France is a $3 billion nursing home operator
- LEG Immoblien is a German real estate property business
- Foundation Building Materials is a $2 billion construction material provider
- Reece Ltd is an Australian plumbing supply company
At the same time companies removed during May include some where their revenue that fell short of the minimum as well as those merged or acquired:
- TonenGeneral Sekiyu merged with JX Holding
- Reynolds American was acquired by British American Tobacco
- Gamesa Corporacion Tecnologica was acquired by Siemens
- Unified Western Grocers is being acquired by Supervalu
- BE Aerospace was acquired by Rockwell Collins
