During the month of October we updated 533 records. There were 10 new companies added and that same amount deleted. For those of you producing a list for your sales teams, you need to keep watching those updates and market activity to keep the list current. Our database remains at 99+% currency – virtually all 5,000 records have had an update within the past 12 months.
For those firms looking for lead generation opportunities, databases will need to be updated with all these new additions, M&A combinations . . . and some spin-offs.

At the same time companies removed during October include some where their revenue that fell short of the minimum as well as those merged or acquired:
- Palmer & Harvey was a UK based food distribution that closed its doors
- BE Aerospace was acquired by Rockwell Collins
- YP Holdings was acquired by Dex Media
- Flipkart has been acquired by Walmart
- Joyson Safety Systems was acquired by Ningbo
