Fortune just released the F500 listing based on 2010 revenue and it gives us a chance to see where these companies rank compared to the continuing, expanding global picture.
The Fortune list includes US public companies whereas The Global 5000 includes all countries and private as well as public companies.
Wal-Mart and Exxon Mobil are at the top of the list and they are the largest in world. Looking at the back end of Fortune, Seaboard is #500 on the Fortune list with approximately $4.3 billion in revenue and they rank #1600 on The Global 5000. Last year’s #500 – Blockbuster was $1529 on The Global 5000 list.
