We have completed the Global 5000 database updates for Q4, 2023 which are now posted and available for client delivery. During the quarter, over 1100 records were updated, and all 5,000 company records have been updated within the past 12 months.
During Q4, 33 companies were added (or returned to the list) replacing those that were removed as they were acquired or reported revenues too small to be included.
The top companies added include:
- Shenzhen Investment Holdings Co Ltd of China
- Kellanova which was created as spart of the Kellogg’s split
- China Tower Corp Ltd – the cell tower business
- Banco Macro SA of Argentina
- CNPC Capital Company Ltd
The largest companies removed include:
- VMware, Inc. which was acquired by Broadcom
- Activision Blizzard, Inc. which was acquired by Microsoft
- Newcrest Mining Limited acquired by Newmont Corp.
- Kum & Go – has been merged into a new firm named FJ Management
- Telenet Group Holding NV was acquired by Liberty Global
Updates continue throughout the year as we aim to update 1/12th of the records each month.
