Continuing our regular updating of the Global 5000 database, we have completed updating over 520 records for the month of May.
During the month, we also welcomed 10 new companies to the Global 5000 replacing some who were acquired (or their revenue fell back too far to make it into the 5000. That brings the total new additions for 12 months to 200 companies which has been fairly consistent over the years.
Some of the major companies added over the past couple of months include:
- Galderma SA – the Swiss cosmetic company
- China High Speed Transmission Equipment Group
- Brookfield Asset Management – which was part of a split out within Brookfield
- SiriusPoint Ltd. – an insurance provider based in Bermuda
- RingCentral, Inc. – the call center services company
