  • Prestige Brands – acquired Care Pharmaceuticals of Australia
  • Royal Mail Holdings – UK gov’t to list shares
  • Schneider Electric – acquiring Invensys plc
  • Societe Generale – selling private banking business in Japan to Sumitomo Mitsui Banking
  • Spartan Stores – acquiring Nash Finch
  • Tribune Company – splitting into 2 companies – publishing and broadcasting
